When the idea of Twstd first bloomed in my mind, having a brand wasn’t a priority. But as a graphic designer, and having been involved in branding for over 20 years, it was hard not to have some ideas.​​​​​​​

Designing a brand with a monogram that has both a physical and graphic manifestation -- the Twstd Monolith -- offered the perfect excuse to try new techniques and explore 2D and 3D motion design. And trying new things is, of course, the main reason Twstd came to be.
What started as a small essay to share my work with friends and peers evolved into this brief showcase for concepts and environments in which the brand expresses itself.
And yes, surely there won’t be a shortage of ideas for new backgrounds, materials and settings for the Twstd Monolith. I’m fairly sure this is only the beginning.​​​​​​​
